ETTES DANCE COMPANY AUDITION INFORMATION.

Hey guys! I cannot believe audition time is almost here!!! I wanted to give everyone the times for the age groups and let you know the process! You do not have to do a solo if you are auditioning for the apprentice company. Mini Mini & Mini Ettes do not have to audition. Audition forms are available at the front office.

NOTE: Auditions are open to all dancers. You do not have to be currently registered at LHPAC to audition.

Friday, August 13 (No worry. Dancer's are not superstitious)

9-10 AM - 8 and under ballet/technique

10-11 AM - 8 and under solos

11-12:30 PM - 9-11 ballet/technique

12:30-2 PM - 9-11 solos

2-3 PM - 12 and over ballet/technique

3-4 PM - 12 and over solos

Saturday, August 14

9-10:30 AM - 11 and under choreography

10:30-1 PM - 9-14 choreography

1-3:30 PM - 12 and over choreography/ pre pro auditions

3:30-4:30 PM - pre pro solos

The solos just need to be 30 seconds long and really show us your personality! You will be doing a lot of technique in your auditions already, so it does not need to be full of tricks! We just want you to show us who you are and have fun! If you are auditioning with the possibility of being chosen for the performance company then you must do a solo and short interview. If you are only auditioning for the new pre pro co then your solo will be on sat. If you are a company member that might also want to dance in a couple pre pro numbers, your solo will be on Fri. You do not have to choose one or the other if you are 13 and over. It is possible to dance on company and still be a part of the pre pro co! The contests they will be attending you will already be at.

For the technique and ballet sections just come to your own age division. Please wear ballet clothes and wear your hair in a bun. Bring ballet shoes and whatever shoes you turn best in! You may wear whatever you want for solos and you will draw for performance order. For Saturday, I am overlapping ages because I want to see different ones of you grouped together! You may wear any style, but all black. Bring different styles of clothes so that you feel appropriate for each style of combo that we will be doing. For example, you would probably want to put on sweats for hip hop! Bring all of your dance shoes as well. Be prepared for anything!!! Lots of choreography planning is already in the works, so everyone come in and give it your all! This will be the best season yet!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The groups and NEW PRODUCTION announcement will be at midnight on Saturday!
